L1021951.jpgI don't even know what to call this. I was in Troy this past weekend. On my way home I swung by the (now closed) Troy Pork Store to take some photos before the place is gone forever. While I was doing this, the man on the left (the one in the plaid pajamas) came up to me.

"You got a really nice camera there. That's a high-end piece of equipment."
(uh-oh, I thought this guy is going to mug me)
"Thanks, it's not that high-tech. Kind of old actually."
"Oh, well, could you come across the street with me? My brother is moving out of his apartment and we don't have any pictures of us together."
"Oh, ok."

Another shot after the jump...

I like that he is still holding his lamp. No, correction: I LOVE that he is still holding his lamp.

Total whiff on the bunny ears, though.

Was that the apartment that I lived in with Nick and JJ two years ago?

I think it might have been. Was this man your neighbor?!?

I usually tried to shy away from most of my neighbors, for reasons seen above.

Also, are you going to be sending this picture to one of these guys? I mean it would be strange for them to say that they didn't have any pictures of each other, you take it, and then they still not having a picture of each other. Did they just want it documented somewhere in history that at one time there was a picture of them together? Did you drive them back to NJ with you since it looks like the reason they were moving was due to eviction and all they could grab were plaid pajamas and a lamp? Jim are you trafficking hobos again???

That's so Troy and I love it......

I have to call the pajama guy's sister in order to get her email address to send the photos.

I wish I was trafficking hobos. There would be a lot more photos of hobos here if I was.
