Why, it's Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal! How else to explain the fact that the governor decided to deliver yesterday's Republican response to Obama's speech in the tone and cadence of 30 Rock character Kenneth Purcell? Don't take my word for it though - check it out here.

I'm glad other people noticed this. I was IMing with my sweetiepie last night and said something to the effect of "The governor of Louisiana is the Indian Jack MacBryer !"

Aside from the volcano monitoring, his response left one burning question in my mind: Did Sean Penn have permits and insurance for his personal Katrina rescue rowboat operation?

I thought it was pretty high comedy that Jindal's basis for his argument against government rescue was the badly bungled, Republican managed Katrina response. I know I'm far from the first to make that comment, but it was that moment that shredded the last bit of my loyalty to and empathy for the Republican party. Long live the pinko leftist Commiecrats.
