So what is G, other than an incredibly dumb advertising campaign?

G is Gatorade.  I cannot for the life of me imagine why they feel the need to rebrand themselves as G.  More importantly, there is something vaguely offensive about this commercial.   The whole co-opting of G (gangsta), plus the obnoxious voice over from Lil Wayne, the smug look on the faces of everyone involved (yes even you, dreamy Derek Jeter)... what exactly is going on here? Somebody explain it to me.
