While enjoying my "day-off" yesterday I decided to watch The Price is Right.  Now I know that ObscureCraft has disapproved of this show due to Drew Carey's lack of enthusiasm after the exact showcase bid.  But something drew me to it (yes pun intended).  Watch the below clip.  Watch the whole clip if you want (because this kid does REALLY well), but the interesting part lies between the 1 and 4 minute marks.  Actually, the best part lies at 3:26 onward to 4:00.

This is how Drew Carey should have responded at the exact showcase bid.  It definitely looks like Drew won the car, not the 19 year old douchebag.  What I take away from this is that on The Price is Right it is much more exciting to get 2 correct digits instead of 5...at least in Mr. Carey's eyes.  So I will continue to watch The Price is Right, not only because of this but because Maury doesn't run against it where I am.   So for me it's either The Price is Right or the Tyra Banks show...and I choose the lesser of two evils.

Can you say "trying too hard?"

Yes...I can say that. Just ask Rose. I just said it. She'll vouch for me.

Oh...as an added bonus for those who didn't watch further. Look at Taylor's first showcase prize (approx 5:35).

"Hey Taylor...ever forget what country you're from? Remind yourself with this giant, super-patriotic American flag!!!"

Continuing on...

"And if you love our country, you'll want to visit the birthplace of our greatest American. Matt Damon? No. Ben Affleck? No. MARKY MARK! In fabulous Boston!"

Also...for those trivia buffs out there, continue further on to find out that Marky Mark Day is June 5th. (Since I know this is what the readers want...) Say hi to your mother for me. Grrr...

I was actually watching it this morning, and man Drew Carey just doesn't look like he wants to be there at all. Off day, or was this some kind of contractual issue?

Oh no. I saw that episode that you are referring to. I believe that Drew Carey made a deal with the Devil back in the 90s. He got this "hit" TV show and then hosted "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" which made Christian mothers laugh. Now the Devil has cashed in on his end of the contract and The Price is Right is Drew's Hell.
