I made my prediction of the Electoral Map using this website.  Think you can do better? Make your own map, send me the screenshot, and I'll post the winner whenever the final returns are in.

You want a prize? Shit, I just gave out a prize.  This contest is too easy for a prize.  Just do it.  I'm not made of prizes.

Ok that's it. You are officially cut out of my will. I'm leaving all of my bills and my beautiful and spacious home here in bear country to your sister.

Sure, if Obama loses if must be because of race. It has nothing to do with his policies. Nah, it must be race.

Can you say "I can't take the bullshit anymore".

Uh, I think you left this comment on the wrong entry?

But anyway: I'm not saying if you don't vote for him you are a racist. Pretty sure I made that clear the first time around. But what I am saying is that there is a large number of people whose vote is influenced by his race. 30% according to the CNN poll, and I wouldn't be surprised if that was under reported. If Obama loses, at this point, with the polling we have seen, I would conclude that a large number of people voted for McCain because he was the white guy.

I don't think I left this comment on the wrong entry. But anyway, the polls could be incorrect, especially being done by CNN. Things could change because of recent stories. I don't know how true all the "coal" stories are, but this could change things in coal states like Pa, W. Va and Ohio. We shall see. What I have to wonder, is where were McCain's people with all these "revelations" and why are they just being talked about now the day before the election. I would say someone screwed up.

I sent you my predictions.

Sent mine along as well. I'm also going to make a popular vote prediction: 52-47 Obama, driven primarily by increased Democratic turnout in both deep blue and deep red states. Ohio and Florida will both be razor thin and keep us up tonight as McCain wins the Election Day vote handily, but in the end not by enough to overcome the Obama lead in early voting.

I realize it's after the election... an election I was pretty sure the Republicans would lose. So... taking your logic the other way, are the 95% of blacks who voted for Barack racist? Shouldn't you be calling them out? Of the major ethnicities, they were clearly the most supportive (95%) of their like race.

Charles Krauthhammer, despite his silly plastic surgery gives probably the best campaign autopsy that I've read.

My original point was that IF Obama lost, which we now know he did not, the only explanation I think there would be is that his race led voters to not vote for him. But that didn't happen, so...

And besides: to call African Americans racist for voting for a black candidate is to completely ignore the context in which the act took place.
